As we make our journey through life we plan and prepare for many things. Childbirth should be no different. There is an opportunity for huge growth when bringing new life into the world and it is key for both mum and her birth partner to be committed and ready for the challenge….

A typical class may cover:
* The Birth Process
* Labour signs/positions/tools
* POSTnatally – welcoming mum and baby home for the “4th” Trimester

We will practice certain yoga poses and relaxation. Relaxation is key to the process of pregnancy, birth and beyond. Techniques for breathing and relaxation will be taught and practiced in class so that you may master the ability to deeply relax at a moments notice. This class is a great resource for learning how your partner can best support you during childbirth.

Liesbet is a prenatal certified yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga for 17 years. She has also trained as a massage therapist, doula and childbirth educator. She is passionate about couples making intelligent, informed decisions around the birth of their new family and has mentored hundreds of women through this beautiful time in their lives.

Liesbet had also attended births as a Doula and has been honoured to attend both homebirths and hospital births. She offers her calm presence and intuition with comfort measures and breath techniques to facilitate a smoother delivery.
